Ned Wentworth brings over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry to the WDK team. He began his career at Wentworth, Burns and Olmstead - an agency owned by his father. Some time later, he took over the agency as sole owner and later chose to merge with Blumberg Associates where he worked for over 20 years. Ned has the unique talent to remain professional yet be approachable and has a superior relationship with his companies and clients alike. His honesty and loyalty earn the respect of his peers. He manages to balance the needs of his clients, his employees and the insurance companies he represents. He is well respected within the community as well for his years of dedication. He is on the Board of Directors for Connecticut Institute for the Blind and has served as Chairman of the Board for several years. Among his many responsibilities with the board, he has been instrumental in setting up a cost savings insurance plan for the non-profit school. He was Chairman of the Campaign Development for Northwest Catholic High School which raised over $3,000,000 for their building fund. He was President of the Alumni Committee for Northwest Catholic High School as well as a member of the school board.
